John Lennon anyone????

Our trip to the beach

We spent several days at the beach with Mema and Gpa and Jackson spent two weeks with them at Anna Maria Island. We had a great time and we're already looking for a place for next year. Good times had by all!

The big boy bed transition... part 2

Ok, on February 19, we moved Jackson into his big boy bed... well, the transition has gone down hill... A couple weeks after Jackson had done really well in his new bed, he figured out he could get out of bed, walk to Mama and Daddy's room and generally have free roam of the house. He also figured out that he preferred to sleep on the floor on top of his pillows. Fast forward to April 14... he sleeps on top of his pillows with the baby gate up... Crazy I know! I just hope he grows out of this. Eventually he will realize his bed is more comfortable... right??

My boys both love to help cook...

Chopping is their favorite. The measuring spoons are a close second.

Egg hunting...

Our neighborhood had a little Easter Egg hunt and cookie decorating activity on Saturday. Needless to say the boys had a ball and so did Mema and Gpa.

This was so much fun for both boys we've continued this activity well past Easter. It's been a lot of fun. Thank you Mema for the baskets.

Easter

This was the only picture out of many that was even remotely worth showing. I guess it's too much to expect two young children to both sit still and look in my general direction. :)

Jackson's big boy bed

Well, I finally gave in and we got Jackson his big boy bed. This was his first night in it. I got all teary thinking about the day we brought him home to this crib that is now his big boy bed. He did really well in it. He had a hard time going to sleep the first night but since then, no problems. So far it's been a smooth transition.
Thank you Lord for such amazing blessings!

Somersault

Jackson is learning to do a somersault. This just cracks me up!

My two little boys -

All I can say is what fun!

My little baby is about to be ONE!

I can't believe how this year has flown. John Carter turns one next month. I can hardly stand it in some ways and other times I feel completely thankful we're moving into this fun stage. He is walking and signing and developing faster than I would have imagined. Lots of fun this next year I can tell.

On the way to our Weiss family portrait session

This picture is amazing - we got all children looking, everyone smiling and we did it in about 10 minutes! Yeah...
