Ok, I LOVE the way Jackson smells after a bath and his lotion and ummm I could just bottle that smell! Anyway, here he is after his bath tonight. So cute in his NEW PJ's from Aunt Kate. Thank you Aunt Kate - we love them but we love you more!

Such a happy boy!

Life is good! Today Jackson really started showing an interest in pulling up. I was folding laundry and he pulled himself up on the laundry basket. He is getting stronger each day! Yeah and thank you Lord. It is only because of the fervent prayers of many. Thank you thank you!

On Loan...

You know, our children are not our own. They are only on loan to us from God. How blessed are we that He gives us the joys of parenthood - watching them grow, developing into the person God has so specifically designed for His purpose. Jackson is really a miracle and I am convinced beyond belief that he will be miraculous in all he does through God's strength. Today Ms. Cindy (his physical therapist) was so impressed with is recent progress in the last 4 weeks that she asked, "Are you trying to work yourself out of therapy?" and I quickly responded with Yes! Only through the incredible power of God. What an awesome soverign God we serve and how blessed are we that he cares about each of us so much!

Pictures, but no video :(

Here are the latest pictures of the monkey crawling with his hammer. He finds a way to get where he wants to go WITH his toys. He amazes me!

Look who's crawling!

Ok, Jackson finally started moving on his tummy today - in a forward motion! :) We've got video so hopefully we can get it posted! Love that pumpkin!

I don't like dairy

Today, Jackson just wasn't himself. He woke up happy but not as happy as he usually is. He is normally so smiley and fun. Today, he just was off. I think it's because on Wednesday he had some milk after I had eaten French Onion soup. And while I didn't eat over half of it because the cheese was throughout, I think the cheese I did eat was enough to make him unhappy. Poor Guy.

I am really playing hard - aren't I sitting well?

Happy Birthday Aunt Kate!

Happy Birthday Aunt Kate! I love you!

Better late than never...

Ok, so many of the people I know have blogs. This is how they communicate in mass about their family, their business, etc., so I am jumping on the band wagon. It's also a good way for me to chronicle the days of Jackson's life fairly easily. Kate - this is also for you! Now you can see the punkin each day and hear about how he is doing! :)

We had therapy today and he did so good. He is able to sit very well without too much wobbling and he is getting the idea of moving his hands forward when he is trying to commando crawl. He is such a blessing that each day I thank God for giving Stuart and I such an amazing gift.

I went to BRS (Babies R Us) today and got him a few little sleepers. He's grown out of most of the ones I have. I didn't realize how hard it was to find footed sleepers in size 12 months. Who would've thought. It's not as though they will stay covered up during the night. I have to say baby clothing manufacturers are missing the boat here.
I met with our new nanny today. She was so good with Jackson and he just loved her. She is going to help Stuart and I out on days I have to work at the office so she is such a blessing. I am very thankful God has provided in this area, although He always provides.
